  The NEAL ESSP Smart Pump

Part Muscle. Part Brain.

The NEAL ESSP Piston Pump has earned a stellar reputation for its high efficiency and on the job reliability. The evolution continues with the new fully electronic ESSP Smart Pump control system. With a solid state microprocessor at its core, no moving parts are required to drive the high pressure hydraulic pumping system, making the new Neal ESSP the leanest, most trustworthy pump on the market. With today’s cost of doing business you can’t afford anything less.

The Neal Piston Pump

The NEAL ESSP piston pumping system set standards in the sealcoating industry from the very beginning. Our experience in piston pump and pump head technology exceeds that of several other piston pump manufacturers combined. The Neal ESSP Pump is designed for working with high sand loads to exceed FAA government specifications. Because the ESSP pump is hydraulically driven there is no waiting or downtime for the system to rebuild pressure. Spray pressure settings far exceed requirements to support multiple handwands or extended distributor bars. The systems in-line surge tank provides steady and consistent pressure. Because of the high powered features of the ESSP system your material transfers will be fast and efficient.

The Neal Smart Pump Controller

The core of the ESSP control system is a solid state
(no moving parts) microprocessor control circuit. This microprocessor sends electronic signals that triggers the up and down strokes of the pump. Because there are no moving parts in the controller, the Neal Smart Pump boasts a life span that far exceeds any other piston or diaphragm pump on the market. On board self-diagnostics indicates pump status. The color coded LED signals problems on board the pump controller and activates a fully automatic "limp home" mode – if needed – to eliminate systems failure on the job.

Lean and Trustworthy

The advanced technology of the Neal ESSP Smart Pump system adds great simplicity to the sealcoating process and requires less maintenance than any other pump on the market. There are only 5 leather cups and one rubber gasket to replace, with flushing only required once a year. The new solid state control circuit eliminates "moving" relays (these are still found in other piston pump controllers). The NEAL ESSP Smart Pump system takes job site efficiency to all new levels.

Key ESSP Pump System Features

• 100 gallon per minute Neal piston pump
• Smart Pump contoller with solid state microprocessor (eliminates moving controller parts)
• On-board self-diagnostic system with “limp home”
mode to eliminate potential for costly downtime
• Direct hydraulic drive provides unmatched spray pressure
• High sand load capability for FAA specs
• Suction or discharge capability for fast transfer of
material - fastest transfer rate in the industry
• High volume pump supplies continuous operation
to optional distributor bar (capable of 16 ft. wide
pass) or second hand wand
• Does not damage or shear the material
• Low maintenance: only five leather cups and one
rubber gasket to replace after wear
• Once a year flush out procedure (other pumps
require frequent flushing)
